Meet your host

Hi! It's nice to meet you. I'm Jemma Sbeg, the host of The Psychology of Your 20s. I created this podcast back in 2021 from the back of my car (a Subaru Forester, if you were wondering) with the purpose of bringing evidence and psychology to the experiences of our 20s.

Since then, we have built a community of listeners who are just as passionate about their well-being, self-discovery, and real, evidence-based self-help as I am.

Dealing with uncertainty in our 20s

The ultimate guide to dealing with your uncertainty about the future in your 20s and unanswerable questions like "what do I want to do", "how do I become happy", "how do I make the right choices?"

These are some of my personal favourite episodes that I recommend people when they ask me ...where do I start.

How to make your life more fun!

This episode breaks down five crucial strategies you can use to bring excitement, joy and delight to the utterly mundane in your life and have more fun.

How to feel like yourself again

If you feel lost, detached from your sense of identity, unable to remember what makes you special or important, this episode will bring you back to yourself.

How to fully trust yourself

The opposite of anxiety isn't calm, it's trust. This episode provides a step by step, evidence based guide for trusting yourself and knowing what you're capable of.

The 20 biggest mistakes people make in their 20s

I heard from 5'000 people on their biggest regrets in their 20s, and this episode summarises the most common answers for you to learn from.

The psychology of imposter syndrome

Where it all began...our first ever episode, recorded all the way back in 2021. I will always love this episode.
